Morning

So this morning I was getting off to school a little before 7 and began to wipe the snow off my car. As I was wiping the snow off my windshield, the blade for the the wiper on the driver's side came off of its rod. My hands freezing, I tried to get the wiper back on, but then the rod slipped. Yeah, it slipped and then it cracked the windshield when it fell. A really good start to my day. Did that by any chance happen to anyone else this morning? No? Just me? Cool.

I laughed so hard when I read about your windshield experience! I have to tell you that it is SO nice having a garage now...and a heated one too! It's even worth the long, winding (is that how you spell it?) driveway. Maybe we'll get a snowblower eventually. Guess what, though? Somebody just gave us a dishwasher and Tim's dad is installing it on Saturday! Oh, I am so excited! I have certainly paid my dishwashing dues! ~Jess

Disko,

I'm so sorry to hear about your windshield ordeal! As much as I wish I could say that yesterday was cold and miserable down here in Atlanta, it wasn't. It was actually 70, sunny and gorgeous! I definately miss the snow sometimes, but days like yesterday make up for it. BTW, i love your blog! - Jeremy
