Baciami, Part 2

Remember in February when I wrote about how I want the kiss on the cheek greeting/farewell to come into my life more? Well, I apparently am ahead of the news. Today Katie Courie and sweet Al did a special on how popular the cheek-kissing is getting.

This evening I am flying to one of my absolute favourite cities--Boston, Massachusetts. Of course, Boston is where Joy and I got engaged, and actually, it was in Boston during that visit that I started this blog. It seems we've come full circle. Tomorrow night I will be celebrating with many a Taylor grad as we go to the graduate recital of Mr. Taylor Horner, bass. Yeah, it will be fantastic. And you better believe that when I see all of these friends, a friendly kiss will be in order.

Stephen --

Have a great time in Boston. I'm sure that you will cry a lot --that definitely okay ...your heart is very, very close to your skin. God has definitely blessed you in that way, whether you realize it or not, or thankful for this particular 'wiring' of you. The Boston Garden, Taylor, and others and restaurants you been to will be a precious reminder of God's goodness and grace in your earthly journey! ENJOY!!!! ... and breath out! AND Mr. Taylor Horner will be fantastic, I'm sure.

Hey Stevo,

Hope you are having a wonderful time in Boston. And I'm sure that Taylor's recital was fantastic last night--wish I could have been there! I'd love to be in Boston with you and Joy and Jessica some day (I've never been there)--that would be sweet!

Also, I really liked the John Wesley prayer you quoted--we do need His help every step of the way.

Praise God for His sacrifice, atonement and that He rose again!

Enjoy the rest of your stay in Boston!

Stephen,

I was just at my good friend Jake Drake's house this weekend and loved seeing them greet each other - extended family and good friends - with a kiss. I was thinking I would like to see that happen more often - with my family and friends. I loved parting the Drake household with a kiss from Mrs. Drake. They definitely should happen more.
